'Regensberg' Roses

Introduced - 1979

'Regensberg' rose produces petals that are brushed with hot to dusty pink hues in a variety of intensities and are white at their base. Each flower of this floribunda variety measures about 3 inches across and is composed of 20 to 25 petals.

The flowers have a sweet apple-like scent. This rose is ideal for growing in garden borders as well as container plants. The plants are extremely compact and grow up to a height of only 2 feet.

'Regensberg' rose is among the supposed Hand Printed series of the Northern Irish hybridizers named Sam MacGredy IV since each bloom on the plant has a somewhat different shade.

'Sarabande' Roses

Introduced - 1959

This floribunda cultivar has been named so because of its majestic traditional court dance. 'Sarabande' rose is slightly fragrant and appears on huge flat sprays.

The flowers are luminous and each measures anything between 3 inches and 4 inches and is composed of eight to 14 petals. The color of the flowers varies from vivid to burnt orange with vivid yellow stamens. The plants have a rounded shape and grow up to a height of 2 feet to 3 feet.

'Saratoga' Roses

Introduced - 1963

'Saratoga' rose has been named in honour of the race track in New York State. Initially, advertisements promoting this floribunda also featured a glass horse. This rose bears white flowers whose form may either be somewhat high-centered or decorative.

The potently sweet fragrant blooms are borne in large sprays. Each flower of 'Saratoga' measures about 4 inches in diameter and is composed of as many as 30 to 35 petals. The plants are very hardy and have a spreading habit.

They grow up to a height of 2 feet to 3 ½ feet. The foliage is light green, glossy and has a leathery texture.

'Sea Pearl' Roses

Introduced - 1964

'Sea Pearl' rose produces pastel pink hued buds that unfurl into pearly pink flowers that are diffused with peach and yellow. The plants are bushy and grow up to a height of about 5 feet. Generally one stem bears only one flower, which is unusual for a floribunda.

Usually the blooms of floribundas appear in sprays. The foliage of 'Sea Pearl' rose has a dark green color and it is capable of resisting rose diseases.

'Sexy Rexy'' Roses

Introduced - 1984

The flowers of 'Sexy Rexy' are double and borne on large clusters. They are in bloom all through the growing season. Each flower of this floribunda cultivar measures anything between 2 ½ inches and 3 ½ inches across and is composed of 40 or more petals having pale pink hue.

The flowers have a mild fragrance and as they mature their form changes to flat. The plants of 'Sexy Rexy' produce plentiful of small leaves that are glossy and have a light green color. 'Sexy Rexy' rose flowers very freely and the plants are healthy and have a vigorous growth.

This floribunda cultivar is perfect for growing in garden beds along with perennials and preferably facing taller roses so that it is able to cover their leggy stems. 'Showbiz' Roses

'Sun Flare' Roses

'Sunsprite', a famed and well-liked rose, is one of the parents of 'Sun Flare'. Hence, this floribunda variety shares many virtues of its parent, such as a vigorous constitution and good health. In fact, the blooms of the offspring are more attractive compared to its parent.

'Sun Flare' rose produces pointed buds that have a scrolled form - similar to the hybrid tea roses. The buds unfurl to reveal wide, glowing yellow, double blossoms having the distinctive fragrance of licorice.

The flowers of this rose appear in clusters of as many as a dozen and they keep blooming all through the growing season.

'Summer Fashion' Roses

The flowers have a light fragrance and each measure anything between 2 ½ inches and 3 ½ inches across and is composed of 25 petals. The flowers of 'Vogue' are borne in very large sprays.

The foliage comprises medium green, partly glossy leaves that cover the bushy plants. Each plant of this rose grows up to a height of 4 feet to 5 feet and has shown susceptibility to black spot, despite being exceptionally winter hardy.
