'King's Ransom' bears medium to deep yellow bloom and, unlike many other yellow hued roses, the color of the flowers does not become paler even when the temperature rises.
The individual flower measures anything between 4 inches and 5 inches in diameter and is composed of 35 to 40 petals that have a pleasing fragrance. The flowers are borne on long stems, making them useful for use as cut flowers.
The plants of this variety of hybrid tea rose grows up to a height of 4 ½ feet and the canes produce modest number of thorns. This rose is modestly winter hardy, an unusual characteristic for any yellow rose. However, often 'King's Ransom' is slow in repeating blooms, especially during the summer.

'Kordes Perfecta' produced urn-shaped buds that unfurl into very double, high-centered, slender flowers with creamy white hue. The edges of the petals are red.
Each flower of this hybrid tea rose measured about 4 ½ inches to 5 inches across and is composed of as many as 65 to 70 petals. With the rise in temperature the red on the edges of the petals become deeper and the color spreads from the edges downward.
The stems of this rose are long and tough and, hence, excellent for use as cut flowers. The plants grow up to a height of 4 feet to 5 feet, while the foliage is dark green and glossy with a leathery texture. While 'Kordes Perfecta' blooms sparsely, it is somewhat winter hardy.

The long and pointed buds of 'Lady X' unfurl into slender, high-centered pale lavender flowers, which often have a pinkish shade. When the flowers are fully open the petals curl back, similar to quill, giving the flowers a star-like outline.
Each flower of this hybrid tea rose measures about 4 inches across. Different from many of the lavender hued roses, the flowers of 'Lady X' do not have a rich fragrance.
The disease resistance of this plentiful bloomer is modest. 'Lady X' is among the tallest roses in its color class and the plants grow up to a height of anything between 5 feet and 6 feet.

This hybrid tea rose is not grown widely now. 'La France', a living heirloom, is believed to be the first hybrid tea rose and, hence, it is also the maiden modern rose.
The petals of this rose have a silvery pink hue on the inner side, while the color on the outer side is brighter pink. Compared to most modern hybrid tea roses, the flowers of 'La France' have a more ornamental shape.
The flowers are fragrant and each measures 3 inches to 4 ½ inches in diameter and is composed of as many as 60 petals. The plants grow up to a height of 3 feet to 4 feet and produce semi-glossy, green leaves.

The flowers of 'Lafter' rose are semi-double with a blend of vivid, warm hues - the petals are salmon pink with a yellow base, while their color on the reverse is apricot. The flowers are large, loosely cupped and the petals encircle noticeable yellow stamens.
The leaves of this rose variety have a pale green hue with a leathery texture. The canes produce red thorns. The plants are in bloom from the latter part of their growing season and continue to flower in waves.
'Lafter' rose plants are bushy and have a vigorous growth. The canes are arching and graceful. You may plant this rose in garden beds and borders and also use them as a multicoloured hedge.

Each bloom of 'Las Vegas' measures about 4 inches in diameter and is composed of 25 colourful petals. The flowers are deliciously fragrant. The foliage is glossy, has an average green color and is capable of resisting mildew. The bushy plants grow up to a height of 4 feet to 5 feet and are exceptionally hardy.

It is believed that 'Mister Lincoln' rose is rather susceptible to mildew when grown in cool climatic conditions as well as in places having shade. 'Mon Cheri' is an All-America Rose Selection in 1982 and it produces radiant pink hued buds. The edges of the petals of this rose have a dark hue that changes to red as the flowers mature.

The plants are compact and spreading and grow up to a height of 2 ½ feet to 3 feet. 'Mon Cheri' repeats its blooming sequence very quickly. The plants ability to resist diseases is above average and they are exceptionally winter hardy.

This hybrid tea rose was the official flower of the 1984 Los Angles Olympic Games. In fact, the performance of 'Olympiad' can easily be compared to the performances of the athletes who participated in those games.
