Without an iota of hesitation, it may be confirmed that this is a wide variety of medical conditions that can be treated with a solitary substance. In fact, it really appears to be absurd that tea tree oil alone is able to cure such an assortment of ailments. Nevertheless, there is enough research to validate the use of tea tree oil for the above mentioned as well as several other medical conditions. In fact, majority of the medical conditions stated above are contagious aliments and this clearly elucidates the widespread use as well as the effectiveness of tea tree oil in such cases. Precisely speaking, tea tree oil is a highly powerful antiseptic.

People in America have a very practical approach or attitude while dealing with their health problems - the only thing they want is results. When any medicine or health product works and lives up to its reputation, it will invariably sell on its own. However, there are numerous spurious products flooding the market and owing to these, products that are able to provide the desired results are conspicuous by their presence even in a highly competitive market. When people find such successful products, they usually do not bother about the price, as their sole focus is on the efficiency and safety of the merchandise.

In fact, medicines that help to heal ailments instead of simply restrain the symptoms of the diseases are naturally in great demand among the American population. Actually, tea tree oil is one of those exceptional and multifaceted therapeutic products that are so important that eventually it ought to earn a place and be valued in every home. This essential oil is an entirely organic substance denoting that it fulfills all the standards of judgment or criticism. Tea tree oil is definitely a priceless antiseptic that possesses the most varied anti-microbial agents people have ever come across.

In other words, tea tree oil is extremely beneficial in doing away with microbes that cause diseases (pathogens) even when it is used in watered down form. It has been found that when tea tree oil has been watered down to the proportion of 1:40, it has proved to be successful in eliminating antibiotic-defiant staph or staphylococcus that is infamous for being hard to obliterate. Numerous examinations have demonstrated that the tea tree oil's aptitude to eliminate microbes is more intense compared to alcohols. In fact, tea tree oil has been found to be almost as effectual in eliminating pathogens as chlorine. Although it may seem to be unbelievable to many, the fact remains that tea tree oil has the ability to eliminate a number of pathogens when it is used in feeble forms, such as in watered down proportions of 1:1000.

It is interesting to note that tea tree oil has the exceptional ability to break through organic substances that crop up in large amounts of excrement. In fact, the penetration of tea tree oil vastly smoothen the progress of the essential oil's anti-microbial aptitude.

Akin to blood, even the fluids full of pus that is often found in contagious lesions contain considerable organic substances. Tea tree oil applies its powerful antibiotic activities when it penetrates such pus-laden fluids. The essential oil breaks through the organic substance basically making the infected injuries free from germs or disinfecting the lesions caused by infections. Tea tree oil is such a significant antiseptic that it is able to disinfect blood as well as pus.

In fact, tea tree oil is popular as well as widely accepted as a natural therapeutic substance owing to its capability to eliminate fungi. The ability of tea tree oil to kill fungi is incredible and test tube studies have demonstrated that this essential oil is able to totally hold back the development of fungi in test tubes for as long as a month. Several other tests conducted by scientists on different occasions and places with tea tree oil have shown marvelous results in eliminating parasites, bacteria and viruses.

Tea tree oil has shown to be helpful in eliminating several pathogens and some of them include:

  • Aspergillus
  • bacteroides
  • Candida
  • Clostridium
  • Cryptosporidium
  • diptheroids
  • E. coli
  • enterobacter
  • epidermophyton
  • fusobacterium
  • gonococcus
  • hemophilus
  • Herpes viruses
  • meningococcus
  • microsporium
  • peptococcus
  • Proteus
  • Pseudomonas
  • spirochetes
  • staph
  • strep
  • trichinosis
  • trichophyton

Honestly speaking, the therapeutic utility for tea tree oil is enormous and its uses may be best understood when one compares the properties as well as effectiveness of this essential oil with other antiseptics.

In fact, antiseptics such as hydrogen peroxide, iodine and merthiolate are commonly available with almost all pharmacies and even found in most domestic medicine cabinets. Nevertheless, presently their utility is very much restricted as they are only applied externally to cure wounds. During the early part of the last century, physicians usually used iodine to coat the throat as well as the vaginal tract with a view to heal localized contagions of these parts. On the other hand, the use of hydrogen peroxide as an antiseptic is extremely restricted. Usually, most physicians do not recommend using hydrogen peroxide to treat deep wounds since the substance is scathing for the tissues. Physicians also do not recommend using merthiolate for treating deep wounds as this medication contains mercury, which may prove to be detrimental if it comes in contact with the blood stream. Precisely speaking most of these antiseptics are usually recommended for treating minor cuts or lesions. The same reasons apply to Bactine and other comparable over-the-counter or non-prescription drugs vis-à-vis their application as antiseptics.

In fact, all antibiotics have a very restricted utility when used externally on cuts, wounds or lesions. Presently, most physicians prescribe antibiotics for an assortment of skin conditions and problems of the mucous membranes with a view to heal or put off localized contagions in these areas. However, the problem with most antibiotics is that they are only able to eliminate specific types of microorganisms and, hence, in order to utilize the antibiotics properly, it is essential to be familiar with the exact organism/ organisms that is/ are susceptible to a specific medicine. This is important as it is really impossible to regularly conduct culture and sensitivity tests each time before the treatment of localized infectivity of the skin and/ or mucus membranes. In addition, in several skin problems the organism responsible for the condition cannot be fond out promptly by means of normal laboratory cultures. Moreover, there may be more than one or several organisms that are responsible for any one medical condition.

Many a times it is virtually not possible to find out even the category of the organism that is responsible for a condition - you never know whether it is bacteria, virus, yeast, fungus or some kind of parasite. For instance, it is generally understood that acne is caused by a specific type of bacteria that assault the skin pores, ducts and follicles of the skin. It has been found that when antibacterial agents, such as antibiotic creams and oxidizing agents, have been applied externally, they have shown some positive results in removing acne. Nevertheless, even these topical antibacterial agents have not been successful in eliminating the anguish and mess caused by acne. There are situations when an individual requires taking antibiotics every day and for several months or years at a stretch to manage the acne and in such circumstances toxicity is almost inevitable. However, it needs to be mentioned that acne is not only caused by bacteria. It has been found that even contagions by fungi and parasites along with hormonal disorders and malnutrition also result in acne.

Here is another instance to show that some conditions are caused by different categories of microorganisms. Like in the case of vaginitis or infection of the vagina, as the disease is caused by an assortment of microbes and hence the majority of the antibiotics are not suitable to treat this medical condition. In fact, antifungal creams, such as Lotrimin and Mycolog, are useful in the treatment of vaginitis caused by the infamous yeast known as Candida albicans. Nevertheless, these medications are not effective when it comes to treatment of vaginitis caused by virus, bacteria or parasites. For treating simple and minor wounds or lesions, topical antibiotics are of some use. Nevertheless, such topical antibiotics are useless when it comes to treating wound contagions caused by antibiotic-defiant microbes like what is witnessed in patients who are hospitalized for such conditions.

All the above mentioned instances only go on to prove that tea tree oil is extremely beneficial for treating different contagious diseases. It is important to note that unlike the usual medications available with the pharmacies, tea tree oil can be used as the main therapy for all the conditions discussed above. In fact, it has been found that in several cases treatment with tea tree oil has been more effective than using the conventional drugs. This particular aspect of this essential oil highlights one important point - tea tree oil cannot be considered as a medicine that is effective only in cases of specific microbes. On the contrary, tea tree oils ought to be considered as a complete antiseptic that has the aptitude to heal an assortment of contagions, including those caused by the most obstinate microbes that defy most medications. The complete potential of tea tree oil vis-à-vis treatment of human ailments can be comprehended only when you look at the virtues of the essential oil from this perspective. Such statements regarding the capabilities of tea tree oil are proven and there is nothing in them that is unbelievable. Precisely speaking, these facts regarding the amazingly beneficial and remarkably effective essential oil obtained from the trees growing in the marshy lands of Australia are definitely indisputable.

Of all these virtues of tea tree oil, medical practitioners will still remain cynical regarding the claims made about the effectiveness and usefulness of this essential oil. While several medical practitioners will straightaway turn down the idea of examining the virtues of tea tree oil, there will be many others who will refuse to recommend it to patients who need it most. However, only a stupid will refuse to try the tea tree oil or conduct tests with it to see for himself or herself how the essential oil actually performs. In fact, medical practitioners are the people who are ideally suited to try or experiment with tea tree oil to ascertain its virtues. As they attend to several patients every day, all that they require to do is place an order for a sample file of tea tree oil and use it on their patients to assess the exact potentials of this essential oil. In fact, conducting such experiments is scientific in every manner and physicians have been doing this for centuries to evaluate the capabilities of different medications before acknowledging their value. In fact, even the pharmacists may also undertake such experimentations with tea tree oil. Pharmacists may also place an order for a sample file of tea tree oil and use it to treat themselves or their family members for any obdurate conditions that have not responded to the other medications used by them till then. Perhaps, this is the best way to assess the effectiveness and usefulness of tea tree oil.

After reading it I bought a bottle of tea tree oil and this wonderful oil has cured a terrible painful armpit fungus; several prescription ointments my doctor recommended did not help at all. I wish doctors were more open to natural remedies.
